Coach takes us through the Celtics snatching defeat from the jaws of victory once again. This time against the Bucks. Coach gives us 3 trades that NEED to happen around the league. Merry Christmas one and all!
Coach Healy and Bob Ryan are no doubt kindred spirits. They grew up in a time before the 3 point line existed, and they pine for the days when basketball was actually basketball and not an embarrassing shot chart full of missed 3's, bereft of post-ups and midrange shots. We also take a look around the league at the surprising Cavs, and rising Grizzlies, and a hot take for the one move the Celtics can make to improve their locker room before the deadline.
Celts are improving, but still refuse to execute a give and go, literally the oldest play in the history of the game. The Warriors, Phoenix, and Milwaukee are all in top form. Coach thinks Pritchard and Nesmith should be playing in the G league instead of riding the pine behind Richardson. Lakers are floundering. Also, coach wants Rob Williams, who saved tonight's game with a block at the buzzer, "Bill Russell can probably count on one hand the number of times he landed on only one foot!" :)
Coach and Tone take a look at the league 10 games into the season. Also, on the heels of Marcus Smart calling out his teammates in the media to pass the ball more, Coach takes us through the Celtics' leaders both on the court and in the locker room through the years. Spoiler alert: Marcus didn't crack the top 20.
The Celts are off to a rough 2-4 start and oftentimes lose big leads early in the season. Their characteristic defense that was the signature of the Stevens era has not yet returned. Coach takes us through a disappointing start to the season and gives his predictions and rankings for the Western Conference.

Coach also takes us through the trials and tribulations of Team USA approaching their first game in pool play vs. France. Sorry for the audio consistency issues on this one, and thanks for listening all season long!

Coach takes us through the most explosive 2nd round of NBA playoffs in recent memory, and we disappear down the fun rabbit hole of Ben Simmons trade ideas! Thanks for listening everyone, and happy belated Father's Day.
In the thick of the 2nd round, the Hawks are improbably 2 games away from making their first East finals since 2015. The Clippers found themselves and evened their series against the Jazz 2-2. The Suns sweep the Nuggets. The Bucks struggle to find their rhythm against the ailing Nets. Durant carries the Nets to victory in a signature performance, pouring in 49, 17, and 10. Coach Healy is here for all of it! Also - In one of his signature monologues, Coach tells Dan Shaughnessy why he is entirely wrong about the Celtics.

With Steph Curry going absolutely bananas, and Gary Washburn writing outlandish articles proposing Rondo's place in Springfield, Coach Healy weighs in on that and more as the NBA season marches toward completion. 11 games lay ahead, with teams in both conferences jockeying for playoff position, except for Houston and Minnesota of course.
